阅读下面材料,根据其内容和所给段落开头语续写两段,使之构成一篇完整的短文。

It was the day of the big cross-country run. Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route (路线) through thick evergreen forest.

I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old. His usual big toothy smile was absent today. I walked over and asked him why he wasn't with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run.

What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event!

I quickly searched the crowd for the school's coach and asked him what had happened. "I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him," he explained uncomfortably. "I gave him the choice to run or not, and let him decide."

I bit back my frustration (懊恼). I knew the coach meant well-he thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted, I turned to find him coming towards me, his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward.

David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid. He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team. It just took him longer -that's all. David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children, he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the David faced and was school, I was familiar with the challenges the challenges proud of his strong determination.

(第二节很难,首先,缺少中文提示,要写什么内容就必须清楚领会短文意思,先考查学生的阅读能力;其次,理解完意思,要为已知故事设计一个好的情节,并对应最后给你的结果,需要想象力与逻辑性,写好不易,一般简单的说教式过程,即使表达准确,得分也不高。再次,时间限制的情况下,应该快速做出选择,稳妥做法是大段的对话,150个字,也要10多句话,此种前提限制下,灵魂交流不易,一番口水话下来,中规中矩。平时较有积累的孩子,可以挑战新思路,比如老师讲个励志故事说服孩子,比如找个孩子参与说服,比如老师召集大伙做马丁·路德·金式《I have a dream》,然后大家开开心心一起走等。多花几分钟打好故事框架,也会事半功倍。

第一节:

假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文,请你修改你同桌写的以下作文文中共有多错误仅涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。

增加:

在缺词处加一个漏字符号(^)。并在其下面写出该加的词。

删除:把多余的词用斜线()划掉。

修改:在错的词下划一横线,并在该词下面写出修改后的词。

注意:

1、每处错误及其修改均仅限一词:

2、允许改10处,多者(从第11处起)不计分。

My father often took me to his hospital when I was off my school. He showed me how his medical instruments was used. I felt so closely to him. However, after I went to high school, somehow I become distant from him. I was unwilling talk

with him and often disobeyed his rule of not stay out with my friends too late. The disagreement was too sharp that neither he nor I knew what to settle it. One day, he talked with me or hoped to mend our relations. With the efforts made by all sides. we began to understand each other better.

(第二节开放性强,大家都有话可说。中等以上分数较多,但是由于太好写,想得高分很难。首先,需要比别人站得高看得远,立意要高,论点要新颖,论据要有说服力,考查双语的思维能力。此外,在谋篇布局,句子表达,修辞手法应用上要明显高上一筹,才能脱颖而出。)

第一节:

We all know that cycling is a greatly exercise. A doctor tells me people who lives the longest are dancers and cyclists. Maybe it is because the combination of fresh air, smooth movement and exercise. Whether you ride a bicycle, you don’t use petrol. So they are not producing carbon dioxide and not cause air pollution. Just see how cars have been taken over our cities. They often run at high speeds, what may put our lives in danger. And there were traffic jams, too. Our cities will be better places if we replace cars with bicycle.

第二节 书面表达(满分25分)

学校英文报正在开展以Learning English Beyond the Classroom为题的讨论。请使用图表中的调查结果写一篇短文投稿,内容包括:

2.简单评论;

3.你的建议。

注意:

2.短文的题目和首句已为你写好。

(第二节第一眼看觉得简单,尤其是学习活动状况描述,简直就是初中就该达到的水平,难得在后面。简单评论不简单,很容易落入简单重复前一部分的陷阱,评论要站在更高角度,审视各种方式的优缺点和有效性。你的建议最难,因为我们平时的课外英语学习方式就这几种,一二环节说过的决定不要重复,考虑提供新的方法或者提出新的观点,如合适才是最好的等。)

几点建议:

1. 词汇是英语学习的重中之重,掌握尽可能多的单词才是王道。

2. 写作首先考虑的是尽量避免失误的出现,尽管你的成文可能不够精彩,但是没有失误可保证评分中等以上。

3. 英语作文与汉语作文相同,发散性思维,精准概括,基本的逻辑性是写好文章的前提。善于培养英语思维和外国人的表达习惯,杜绝两种语言在脑子里的互译。

4. 大量阅读除了阅读能力的提升,还是规范外语表达不断强化的过程,熟读唐诗三百首,不会写诗也会吟,在英语也同样使用,记住是阅读不是朗读!

5. 背诵几篇文章,等着考试套用,会给自己设套,不提倡!背些地道名言警句,合适的地儿用上,会提升13格,拉着评委往高里打分。
